P52 is horribly engineered

The Lenovo P52 is a piece of shit when used with a Thunderbolt Dock.

It has so many problems that it might as well be a paperweight.
First, it doesn’t always work. Sometimes you need to power cycle it 5 times before it recognizes it and functions.
Then you have issues like “doesn’t wake from sleep” and “Doesn’t fully shut off so it won’t turn back on until you force power off it”

The worst laptop in the world (that costs $450)

I have a 2 year old Ideapad 330. This thing costs over $450. For that price, you get a laptop that is slower than a computer from 1970. This thing only has a Core i3 with 8 GB of RAM, a 1TB HDD that is SO SLOW, and the crappiest screen known to man. For $150 less, you can get a gaming PC with a Core i7 and GTX 660 graphics. If you press the Windows key, it will take at least 5 seconds to open the Start menu. Minecraft, a game that any computer can run, runs at 100 fps. Others? Over 1000 fps. This is the worst purchase I have ever made. This thing is worse than the OG Macintosh.

Lenovo = Turd

Wow was this ever a poor purchase. The “expert” at Office Depot gave it rave reviews and assured it was so much better than everything else I was looking at in this price range. This is hands-down the slowest-starting and sluggish piece of shit I have ever owned. My first and last purchase of anything branded lenovo.

Don’t Buy Lenovo

I bought 4 Venovo laptops for my business. My company has been in business for over 30 years and I have never witnessed suck a terrible product. We only use Google, Outlook and Word on our computers and the computer horrible. We swtiched over to MacBook Pro, amazing difference.

Lenovo Ideapad 320 is trash

Lenovo ideapad 320 has the worst build quality. The rotate bar under the screen broke within 5 months without me harming the laptop even a lil bit. The keyboard is once but the touchpad is rubbish. The touchpad doesn’t support window 10 gestures and the laptop is terribly slow.

Stay clear from Lenovos!

I swear this thing was as slow as molasses the first time ever using it. It overheats and is extremely slow not to mention its virus prone. I thought it was the processor until I used a windows laptop with the same processor and it works like a dream. lenovo sucks

Worst experience

Lenovo has given me the shittiest experience ever imagined. The sales rep sold me products that aren’t compatible with each other. When reaching out to customer service they didn’t provide me with any support and just gave me a reference number. After weeks of trying to get an answer, they told me my products were not compatible with each other.

Buy from somewhere else

My lenovo yoga laptop sucks ass. The screen is broken because the hinges break from you opening the laptop?? I can’t use it if I’m not supposed to open it. And now, it’s being picky about charging. Not worth the goddamn price. I paid extra for this touchscreen that I can’t use now because of the shittily designed hinges, so I may as well have bought a regular laptop.

Also, TERRIBLE customer service. They will not help you, and warranty will not cover damages that were due to their shit design.

Lenovo sucks

Bought a “brand new” laptop from Lenovo. Had somebody else’s name on it. “JDFlegor”? I called customer service who sent me to tech who sent me to sales who sent me to tech, all of which involved hours of sitting on the telephone and talking to people in Lenovo’s Tech Support whose English was so awful, you couldn’t understand what they were saying. After two weeks, this laptop is already crapping out on me – I am locked out of my C drive, can’t use the Office 365…had to reinstall windows 10. Zero tech support.

As unreliable as it gets

Bought an Ideapad 320 for my mom. Motherboard died 16 months in. Was replaced under warranty. Got it back, working okay. Charged it and the left it powered off for her. She came home 2 months later and now either battery controller is dead or battery itself is dead. It does not charge and does not start unless I disconnect the battery. You’ve probably guessed I am never buying Lenovo for anyone anymore.

LENOVO IS CRAPPY COMPANY

I bought an Lenovo IdeaPad 14-inch HD WLED AMD A6-9229e 4GB 64GB eMMC Win 10 Laptop Platinum , Grey, 14-14.99 inches it was a waste of $181 my MacBook pro 2009 ran better than this I wanted this computer for business purposes and I was unhappy with mac and now I regret getting rid of it for a hunk of nothing and Lenovo learn how to make proper cooling outlets or you will fail make better computers instead of crappy ones -just stop making computers

Buy something else

Whenever I use my Lenovo Ideapad flex the pen works 1/10 times. I use firealpaca and the pen never picks up. The background always glitches and there is nothing I can do. I got this for christmas and its was 6-700 dollars and I don’t know what to do. Only thing its good for is typing, the camra isnt even that good.

DO NOT BUY A LENOVO

I have a Lenovo Ideapad s340 and it is beyond awful. Thank god I have 90 days to return it, taking it back tomorrow. Can not believe a computer made in 2019 could be so pathetic. It’s beyond slow, like 5-10 minutes to open a Microsoft Word document, the internet is even slower, it’s constantly freezing, kicking me off of websites, bringing up websites out of nowhere. I’m livid that Walmart or any other store would rip people off by charging $400+ for such a POS!!

F*** LENOVO

I bought a Lenovo Ideapad 530s and it is horrible! Experienced so much problems when first got it and it’s the worse laptop ever. Even the battery started draining really fast less than one year in.

Their customer service sucks as well. They changed the motherboard twice, yet, it is still shit. It wasn’t cheap either to get this laptop. Can’t even perform the bare minimum for gaming like other laptops (I know this is not for gaming but it really sucks).

NEVER AGAIN.

Lenovo’s deception

I bought an All-In-One Lenovo computer in October 2019 and in April 2020 the sound of the computer was damaged. I called them for the guarantee that I had paid (the best) and they did not provide service in my area, now they want me to pay shipping for them to fix it. I really consider both the computer and the Lenovo service to be a hoax. I would never recommend the service or negotiate with this company Levono, what a scam…

Worst laptop EVER owned

I bought a Lenovo Thinkpad E450 for my college as it raving reviews of being the best business laptop. Never have I ever had the worst experience with any laptops like this one. Every other day it would have some issues, my entire college the last term was spent with having to resort to college lab for getting my actual work done because of the laptop was in repair. In the three years I have had this laptop I had to change keybard, powercord, battery all once outside of ther issues. Never again I am buying a lenovo product again.

Rubbish

Lenovo is a big mistake. I basically used supermarket loyalty points to buy my ideapad and it was still overpriced.

The screen quality is poor. Instead of the “eye popping” graphics promised online, its actually a watered down version and alot of text is very hard to read.

The fan will NOT turn off. I have tried everything. It sounds like it is about to take off from the second I turn the thing on.

The speakers broke within a month and I moved abroad so nothing is covered any more.

Is turns itself off at random intervals. So when I leave it on a few hours to perform some calculations, I come back to it and it’s just off, so I have to start the whole thing again.

The trackpad became wonky on one side within a few months.

I will never ever buy anything from this company again. Piece of crap.

LENOVO DESKTOPS FUCKING SUCK

LENOVO JUST SUCK BRUH why the fuck does it keep saying “start pxe over ipv4” it’s been like this for a whole week like wtf, i legit can’t even use my PC or get into it. LENOVO JUST FUCKIN SUCK

I hope my mom just gets me a new fucking gaming PC and just leave shitty Lenovo products.

Lenovo, I had faith in you.

I have a Lenovo Ideapad 330 and it is one of the worst laptops I have ever come across. Okay, first of all, the appearance looks sleek and nice but don’t let that fool you. It can’t run a lot of games. It lags frequently, getting into Google is a pain in the ass and I have to wait for like 10 seconds for them to tell me Google Chrome is not responding. It CAN run older games like Half-Life 2 seamlessly, though. Another thing is its short battery life. I never can bring this laptop out of my bedroom for more than 2 hours without getting a notification that I am almost out of battery. So basically, I hate this product.

Lenovo DOES Suck

I purchased a Lenovo Flex 3 for my Freshman year of college, and it broke during my first semester, right before finals. The keyboard entirely stopped working, none of the USB ports worked, I have no idea what happened. Even before then, it would give me the blue screen of death and reboot at random. I contacted Lenovo support, and they said if I shipped in my laptop, they could fix it and send it back to me. I told them this was fine, but they only had a month since I needed a computer for the spring semester.

Weeks passed, and they made no progress on fixing my laptop, so they sent me a new one. I received a Lenovo Flex 4, since they stopped making the Flex 3. I thought that would be the end of it. Unfortunately, about 8 months later, the Flex 4 died in a very similar fashion. Lenovo could not do anything about it since I was past the 1-year warranty of my original laptop. When I took it into a shop, they said it was a motherboard problem. Replacing the motherboard would have been more expensive than getting a new laptop, so I got a new laptop.

I will never invest in another Lenovo product. Not only are their products unreliable, their customer service is as well.

BAD

Had lenovo for 2 months and now it HAS to sent me these trashy messages saying “ low disk space” I try to undownload apps but it HAS to say “ Cannot install apps” When I send messages to Lenovo and they give it back saying to uninstall unused apps.

I say I can’t uninstall

AND GET THIS: EVERY TIME I SAY I CANNOT UNINSTALL APPS THEY GIVE ME INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO UNINSTALL APPS. WORST customer service ever. Even Mcdonalds has better customer service because at least they do something.
NEVER AGAIN LENOVO!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I didn’t believe anything could be this bad!!!!

NEVER buy a lenovo laptop. I am a 35 year veteran of computer science and have released over 25 software platforms, written over 100 mobile apps and probably built over 500 websites. I first trid to run Windows on the damn thing, but then went to Linux to make it work, falsely blaming the OS. It turns out the faults are not with Windows (which I do not like to begin with). but with the hardware itself. The company is unsympathetic and the warranty useless. Lenovo is the worst brand of computer I have ever owned, without hesitation.

I have NEVER come across such an inferior technology as Lenovo. DO NOT EVEN CONTEMPLATE buying one. If you have one, take it out back and destroy it. Lenovo sucks far worse that you can imagine. If I cannot get it work, you will never stand a chance.

Buy something else. Anything but Lenovo.

Random Canadian

You Get What You Pay For

The lenovo brand is riddled with unexplainable hardware issues.

Bought the flex 15 14″ laptop. Within a year the touchscreen stopped working and I had to use the active pen because the screen wouldn’t register touches with your finger. Tried everything to fix it and all I could find were endless forums from people with the same problem.

Next the touchpad stopped working, and I had to use a bluetooth mouse on a laptop designed to work as a TABLET! Finally, the pen gave out and wouldn’t register clicks so I couldn’t draw or write– the very thing the laptop was marketed for.

This isn’t my first bad encounter with lenovo, as I purchased this laptop to replace an old lenovo whose screen stopped working for no discernible reason.

Stay away from lenovo. It is not reliable. I would rather give $100-$300 more for a more reputable brand than buy their “affordable” migraine-inducing products again.

Spill proof LIE

Spill proof chromebooks ARE NOT SPILL PROOF. They will also not help you if your warranty is expired despite it being their product. I purchased a chromebook for my child directly through their website and not a single tech support person would help with how to handle the situation. They are worse than HP!!! I have 3 devices from them and they all have issues.

Suck You Lenovo

1 – Customer service SUCKS. Can’t get a hold of anybody. Website service is horrible.
2- My sound is constantly going out and not working. Despite uninstalling drivers and reinstalling, sound continues to be whack!
3 -Want to throw my device off a bridge

Call back service SUCKS!!

IMG_2056

Submitted a form for call back service. Well, still on hold and have been on hold for over 1.5 hours. What’s the point of the call back service?????

The problem is the E480 ThinkPad power cord is now useless less than a year. It’s such a flimsy design that it’s now so loose it can’t charge the laptop unless I push and hold it to the laptop. What’s the point?

Lenovo sucks – too right !!

I have to say I couldn’t agree more with this website….I bought a Lenovo and it was a rather impressive croc of crap and then, having not had it long, accidentally dropped it down the stairs to its untimely but rather fortuitous demise. Foolishly and I mean ‘I really am the biggest imbecile on the planet’, type foolish, on the recommendation of a ‘friend’ and I use the term lightly now, I bought a different model, a Lenovo V110. I cannot even be remotely constructive about this laptop it is without doubt an arse wrenchingly, dribbly pile of shite.
I have NEVER had such a slow laptop, even models I had ten years ago are faster. The lag on typing, websites taking an age to load even though my internet is fine, the constant whirr of what must be a shitty processor that seemingly can’t cope with the simplest of tasks, I utterly despair of it.
The double whammy of woe, is the one piddling, tiny speaker ‘cleverly’ mounted on the underneath of the laptop (I kid you not) produces a damp, foggy muffle with the volume of a gnat’s fart. It was so bad I had to buy a Bluetooth speaker in order to make things audible, let along enjoyable.
In a fit of peak, in order to speed up this infernal contraption that I constantly defrag, scan disk and reboot in the hope it will spark into some semblance of life, I bought extra ram and doubled it to 8 meg, it speeded up a little but was short lived and quickly returned to its teeth grindingly soporific stupor.

I have vowed to save up and buy a decent laptop and when I do I am going to take this piss poor calculator passing itself off as a laptop and I am going to smash it to smithereens, drag its innards out and dance in exaltation on its electronic entrails.
I wouldn’t buy another Lenovo even if you put a gun to my head and threatened to use a mandolin slicer on my undercarriage ! I actually feel cheated by this company for sucking every bit of joy from surfing the internet, from denying me the pleasure of watching endlessly facile and pointless videos on You Tube.

Damn you Lenovo, may the fleas of a thousand camels infest the arm pits of whichever tech bod had the audacity to put this forward as a design proposal…….take said laptop and shove it squarely up your hoop !

Lenovo sucks

Lenovo sucks. i use a lenovo school chromebook ( im forced to ) and it sucks. i can sit right next to the router and it wont connect to the internet. and they just completely lie and will sometimes remove websites from your view that show bad reviews. of course, they are a school with a pretty crappy budget so i wont complain too much.

Construction quality and support is poor

I’ve had my Lenovo P50 for 3 years now and have had numerous problems with the construction and quality. DO NOT let the initial impression of the laptop construction fool you. They actually feel well constructed but with even light use they suffer inexplicable problems in a variety of areas. Below is the list of my problems so far…

1) Left internal PC speaker stopped working (required sending it in to be repaired).
2) Ethernet cable got stuck in the machine, was able to free it but ended up scuffing the finish.
3) Left SHIFT key on the keyboard is not very sensitive, it does work but only with an unusual amount of pressure.
4) Crack appeared in the palm rest (required sending it in to be repaired).
5) Less than a year later another crack appeared in the palm rest (this time the machine is out of warranty). Apparently this is a problem many people have reported. It’s simply not worth dealing with again unless the crack gets so bad part of the palm rest breaks off.
6) Multiple bad pixels on the display (machine is out of warranty).

This laptop gets some moderate use but it is not a daily work machine. I’ve had countless Dell computers that have not had nearly the amount of issues this one Lenovo machine has had. In fact, all the issues I’ve ever had with Dell do not amount to the issues I’ve had with this machine and I have Dell laptops that still work that are 10+ years old!

I WILL NEVER buy another Lenovo machine again. Very low opinion of the brand and the support.

The WORST

This Idea Pad is the WORST idea I was convinced into making. Bought it in late October. It’s not working due to operating system. I have Fed Exed it to their “repair” hub twice in the last month only to get it back PRECISELY the way it was even though the sheet days repair completed and inspection passed.
As a performing artist, it is my new passion in life to warn people about all things Lenovo.

Will kill you sanity

Please for the love of sanity do not, I mean do not! Buy any of their products. After less than 20 hours of use my Lenovo ideapad 320 went to black screen. I did every troubleshoot possible. Just don’t buy from them. They are a scam.

Lenovo is overpriced garbage

I bought a Lenovo yoga L380 for school about a year ago and I am very disappointed with the quality of this product.
I paid $1200 for a lump of brittle plastic with the world’s smudgiest display and no dedicated graphics. The i5 is good for word processing etc… But it just can’t handle a heavy workflow for school.
For now, you should steer clear of Lenovo and choose Acer or something more reasonably priced.

Birds of a feather, shit together

this is the absolute w orse laptop i have ever had the misfortune of owning. anyone thinking of getting new laptop, do yourself a favor and stay away from this one. Annd you know what else, microsoft sucks just as bad. they are so frigging greedy, you can have had 20 versions of word, and you thonk you can create a document on this lenovo pieve of shit , HELL NO, you got to pay some more

Miffed

First experience, didn’t research before buying a new lightweight netbook on sale, but was aware Lenovo bought IBM, and IBM used to bd ok. Oh how the mighy have fallen. Unusable out of the box for days until I uninstalled every bit of bloatware I could find, and did all updates. Then with pretty much nothing installed it still uses 2 GB ram (of 4) on nothing significant and struggles to do anything, and painfully slowly at that. To their credit, I was able to send some emails, even got to watch some Netflix and play an old game briefly (on super low settings for old PCs). My old 2nd hand PC (hand-me-down from bro) from 20 years ago ran better than this, with its Pentium 3 and <2 GB ram – at least I could play Starcraft on it. I regret buying this 90% of the time I can bring myself to use it, which is infrequently – I have been pushed by to use my iPad and desktop more. I was delighted at the hits when I googled "Lenovo + s**t" (I have never wanted to include s**t in a search before). I hope we can all laugh about this one day, but probably only when they go bust – hopefully because of something we wrote.

Why HP is Better Than Lenovo

Lenovo sucks, first. When I insert a disc, USB, or SD card, it crashes. Second, when I logon, it always stays in a black screen for 7 minutes then loads. Third, it wont eject disks correctly and is a scam with the high prices, I don’t have these problems with HP.

The two uses for Lenovos

Lenovo sucks

To put it simply Lenovo computers are overpriced, impractical, ineffective pieces of garbage. I bought a Yoga 11e and it has extremely poor performance. It can barely run Microsoft Word let alone anything else, and this is a GOOD MODEL amongst people in my school. As the title of this review suggests there are two main uses for a Lenovo: Writing word documents and using it as a paperweight. Honestly my Lenovo computer is absolutely horrendous and they have just gone downhill and probably will continue to. Do not use Lenovo as they crash when trying to open a jpeg and can hardly even begin to call themselves computers.

Lenovo uses TERRIBLE chargers and ports

So… Lenovo uses SHIT power adapter ports and power adapters. As I write this review, my y530 is sporadically charging and then not, charging and then not. Called customer support to see if warranty can fix it, WARRANTY EXPIRED 2 MONTHS AGO. Also.. The laptop is a gaming one that drains battery WHILE PLUGGED IN. They shipped a 135W adapter when it NEEDS a 170w. What kind of shit is this??

Customer service

I bought a computer monitor which the following day was sol by lenovo same site online for less money. I contacted them and asked if they have a price match for their own website within one day. No reply. I had a chat through online with their representative Kirstie Anne Lumagbas who never replied to my emails. It is not a big deal just I will never buy from them again and will advise whoever I can.

Customer Support? We don’t offer no stinking customer support!

Lenovo / moto’s website, with respect to entering / logging in is:
pathetic; useless; lacking any logical instructional tips about ‘joining’ their ‘community’. No wonder others feel that their Cust. Service is poor; they’ve set up their system so that a customer can’t ‘get in’ to achieve ANY LEVEL of help or support.

LENOVO IS OVERPRICED!

I have recently purchased a Lenovo Yoga L380 for school. This laptop has been nothing but trouble! The screen occasionally goes black when the hinge is in a certain position. Sometimes the keyboard and trackpad disable and it says “do you want to switch to tablet mode.” Many other issues related to the hinges in this laptop.
The processor in this isn’t that bad, the fact is it only has integrated graphics. Really Lenovo?
I say NO!
This computer is not worth $1400 AUD and should only be bought to demonstrate Lenovo’s terrible overpriced garbage!

Please buy something else

I hate the Lenovo IdeaPad 320 with a passion. I’ve managed to squeak a year’s use out of it, but only by using it perhaps two hours a week. Within a month of purchase, the damn thing starts taking HALF AN HOUR to boot, both from sleep mode and directly turning it on.
Another thing is all the background processes. I feel like this laptop would work so much better if it was stripped down to the most basic OS? My RAM and CPU always hit 100% before I even open anything! Cortana, McAfee, so many programs that take up all my running power!
At this point, I’m lucky if an Excel document opens within twenty minutes. Need to do something quickly, perhaps for business purposes? Good luck. Takes fifteen minutes for chrome to load (which is the fastest of all the browsers this laptop can run, I’ve found), then another ten before you can type into the address bar, and hopefully the person waiting on you to get something done has a doctor’s appointment, an open house, and three interviews before needing your work.
I got this to be a working laptop, and I can barely open a word document and type two sentences before the laptop forces me to update (I have turned off all uldates, but every two weeks I get those lovely “support for your Windows version has been discontinued, update now or be locked out of basically everything” messages.
I really tried to like this laptop, honestly. But it’s impossible. I’ve stripped all the background processes that it will let me, and I’m using the most light-weight software I can, but it runs worse than my six-year old Acer mini, which ran Skyrim like it was nothing.
Oh, and those updates? Make sure you don’t need to use the computer for at LEAST four hours. As I’m writing this, my progress bar for the updates FINALLY hit 86%. It’s 5 o’clock, I started the update at 1:30.
Please, save yourself the trouble, and get something else.

POS

I wish i looked at this site before buying. However, I have never purchased a computer that is such a piece of shit in my whole 55 year life. I just bought my wife a 100.00 amazon fire 10hd. it’s 5 times the computer this ideapad s145 is. This computer is a scam on the consumer!
