I’ve had this computer for less than two years and it’s falling apart. A windows update broke the camera. The Wifi stopped working and would randomly shut off until I factory reset it. Recently the webcam stopped working and as far as I know all of these are lenovo just breaking shit over time. Everyone who bought this laptop had the touchscreen stop working at the same windows update.
Don’t pay bill
Bought a Lenovo two and half months ago. Now all I have is a black screen and the fan is continuously running. Now the keyboard will not shut off. Customer service send me to a computer repair shop an hour away from home. Got there and they said they don’t repair, because Lenovo will not pay for the repairs. Lenovo said it will take 8 to 9 days to receive the box and label after it is approved by a case manager. Been a week and still waiting.
Reload your Lenovo
I found the only way to fix a Lenovo is to reload it with a generic windows operating system. I have an ideapad 320. It ran like crapr when I bought it. Then I reloaded it with a generic windows 10 and now it runs great.

Screen flickers because cable doesn’t seat properly. Had to reduce resolution so screen is half size. Camera doesn’t work. Bluetooth doesn’t work. I have spent HUNDREDS of hours trying to troubleshoot all the issues on Lenovo Vantage app, Lenovo site as well as various tech-troubleshoot sites. Re-downloaded drivers, etc. Just don’t don’t buy it!!!!!
Lenovo repair lies
bought a brand new lenovo yoga c940, which turned out to be my worse purchase EVER.
Weird static noises from the internals, and a faulty mousepad, that sometimes chose to make the curse jump when left clicking. This was happening right from the beginning when i recived the unit.
the unit got sent to repair but came back without any fault found at lenovo repair site. sendt it back in with videos of the jumping cursor. Same result, no fault found at lenovo.
I contacted lenovo customer service, and got told i could make a complaint if it was sent baack to repair once more without any fault found, so i did. The unit came back again without any fault found. I the once more made contact for customer service to create the complaint, but now i wasnt allowed to do so. I was told they only could receive the unit again to look for faults.
It was sent one more time, and this time they finally acknowledge the unit had issues, so they said on paper. the papirs said the changed the trackpad and the 2 down firing speakers. the trackpad looked exact the same, so i think they got tired of me and choose to lie. And static noice never came from that speaker position, but the main speaker.
Poor customer service
I purchased a Lenovo Chromebook about 4 months ago so it is still under warranty. The unit will not start and it will not charge. I filled out the proper request for service form but have been given no direction as to how to get it fixed. I tried on line chat three times. Every time I was put in a queue and when it got to my turn I got a “no one is available, please try later”. I have e-mailed several times and gotten no response. The customer service phone is actually lined to sales and not service.

Webcam stopped working a couple of weeks ago ( bought laptop this year ). Had Lenovo laptop before where webcam image was muddy. Have tried both computer and online help areas. Getting very angry at Lenovo, which is why I’m here.

Bought an Ideacentre desktop just over two years ago, and not only was it bloated with Microsoft and Lenovo crapware, the card reader died, DVD drive (used once) died, power button is shonky as hell, and now the built-in wi-fi adapter has crapped out. I can’t remember how quickly the psu went sour. I know who won’t be selling me another pc.

So I am an avid cyclist who also use an indoor trainer setup to do drill on a platform called Zwift. It’s like an MMORPG/Simulator for cyclists.
One of the capabilities within this platform is the use of a companion app to monitor key performance metrics and steps in an exercise plan.
There is a whole bunch bluetooth pairing going on and works over Wifi.
My experience with this device has been frustrating.
The device starts off working ok. Half way though a virtual ride, I’m sweating like a pig and suffering like I’m hell. I’m digging REAL deep to get through the next set of exercises. It’s tough.
Predictably and almost on cue, the tablet hangs the application. Restarting the app and/or OS temporarily fixes the issue.
Initially I suspected the Zwift companion App, but have confirmed successful run through with 2 different Mobile (android) devices.
It comes down to the Lenovo tablet.
I seriously doubt the brand overall if you can’t get something basic like connectivity and pairing right.
It’ not like either Bluetooth or Wifi are bleeding edge standards.
My advice, stay a far away from Lenovo 5h!t possible.

This is the first and last time I’ll ever buy a Lenovo product. 11 months old and already the shift key sticks, the cursor has serious problems (works only when it wants to, is “balky” when it does, etc.), and is slow AF. An Etch-A-Sketch would be faster.

Lenovo Yoga and ThinkPads are the worst laptops in the industry
I’ve been using ThinkPads back when IBM manufactured those.
They were sturdy and reliable. Since Lenovo acquired the brand, the entire line of laptops became unusable. Horrible driver support, bugs with the BIOS,and cheap materials.
Recently I bought a new Yoga laptop. From the very beginning it had driver problems. I’ve talked to Lenovo support, they made me upgrade the BIOS, which except adding an annoying boot splash screen somehow managed to ruin the RJ45 socket and corrupted the Lenovo “first aid” drive (which itself is a buggy feature). I’ve been using the Yoga only in laptop mode, only at my home office and have never even moved it. Yet, the cheap plastic simply cracked over time, the monitor has to be externally supported because otherwise it will fall off. The keyboard backlight stopped working, then the touch feature as well.
Not to speak about how slow and full of bugs the entire OS is, thanks to the “Lenovo updates”.
Also at the last three hightech companies I worked many people have been assigned a Lenovo laptop. Every one of them had a lot of trouble with the laptops and replaced them withing the first two years. Always.
In conclusion: Don’t buy anything Lenovo related. It’s a hoax company with high prices but cheap materials. Their laptops are known to be the worst in the industry and their monitors are in the “cheap Chinese fake” league.

I use my desktop PC as a work station. Sort of a glorified word processor. I also like to burn and store DVDs and CD-Rs. Graphics and labeling are a hobby. Lenovo is unable to support sophisticated work loads. The optical drive is virtually unusable and I had to purchase a USB CD burner to actually make copies. Unintuitive and very weak, I will never buy another Lenovo product.

IdeaPad 330- worst laptop I’ve owned. Crap plastic screen, constant crashes and issues. Bi-weekly driver power state failures lead to hours of wasted time doing system restore. Uncustomizable- nightmare to get mouse scroll to uninvert. Routinely overheats… Will never buy Lenovo again. Shame as my 8 year old thinkpad still works, better than my 16 month old IdeaPad 330

I bought the lenovo T460 thinkpad laptop 3 years back costs me 74000/- . For the price, its the worst laptop and windows is always slow. For the namesake its an I7 but it performed like a 2000 machine. I decided not to go for lenovo product anytime. They have the absolute worst technical service because whenever I will take this to them it has no speed and time to load then they will return as the same product and they dont even suggest anything. Display was not full HD and not SSD. W can get a mac pro for that, we will get full satisfaction for the product

Do Not Buy The Lenovo ThinkPad! Here’s Why:
I recently purchased a Lenovo ThinkPad. This computer is a complete waste of my money: and a lot of it–over a grand! The model I purchased, which was mandated by my employer against my and my fellow employees’ wishes, was not very good at all. I would try to open a simple webpage or YouTube video, and the whole thing would crash! It often also went into a sedentary state, and I was unable to access it for hours, once even four days!
I tried reaching out to the support arms of manufacturer Lenovo, but I received nothing back. I also tried asking the shop-owner for support, but he fobbed me off to Lenovo. Then, when I finally was able to reach Lenovo, they just fobbed me right back off the store!
Also, the charging was quite precarious as well: once I left mine in the charger for a full three days, and it didn’t charge one bit! I implore that anybody who intends on purchasing the Lenovo ThinkPad, think again! And if you desperately want a brick, they’re sold for three dollars apiece at your local hardware store. Not $1,300, like this joke of a machine was. SAD!

It’s been less than a week that I bought it and it is the worst laptop I have ever used. It hangs if you open more than 1 application at the same time. Also during video calls if you keep your mobile nearby then it makes screeching sounds which is very unpleasant to hear. While using the internet,whenever one opens a new tab in Google Chrome, it takes forever for it to respond. I know for sure that it is not a network issue! My other laptop (Dell Inspiron N4010) which is 10 years old works much better. I wasted 40k on this piece of shit and I can not even return the product.

I got the Lenovo V145-15 81MT001SSP W10 one word desribes this laptop garbage, absolute garbage given to me by university, the bloody laptop takes 30 fucking minutes to load up, after shuttting it down I would often have to restart the computer, it slows down very fast when I have 9 tabs open so I had to install a clean up software which worked for some time. Do Not use this laptop for playing emulators such as the Wii dolphin emulator, PSP emulator it will freeze. This laptop can’t even play 4K videos from my F-ing gopro camera unbelievable so I had to install motherfucking software handbrake to handle it’s shit pre-installed software features, false adverstisement on the product, what fucking laptop can’t play

No one report so it not their product problem.
Our T480 one of the key pop out only after a couple of months used and service helpdesk says it not manufacturing problem cause no one reported. So I’m 1st to report and they will not entertain.

I bought a Lenovo laptop from Walmart for $400. I get home turn it on. And it takes forever to load up. I assumed since it was running intel that might be part of the problem(I’ve always bought AMD processors). I emailed Lenovo support and never got a response. I couldn’t take it back to Walmart as I have to deal with Lenovo after initial purchase and having already used it? Called customer support and was hung up on multiple times( maybe a bad connection). All and all it was disappointing that my ten year old laptop still works faster and better than the new one I had bought. I will continue to either buy HP products or build my own computer.

HDD Connector Suck
We hade bought 20 laptops in 2017. The problem appears after one year. The hard disk is not found. The cause appear to be the disk fixation to the motherboard. I have contacted the support but no response even if these laptop is under warranty at this time. Now, half of these computers have the same problems.

I bought a Lenovo C630 laptop. It is the absolute worst. Apparently it has some flip-around touch pad feature where the user can tilt the screen all the way back. But it’s so poorly manufactured and cheap that the hinges that connect the screen to the computer are already worn out.
I’ve never even flipped the screen more than 100° back, but the screen flickers all the time to the point it either goes black or I need to turn it off.
