Ideapad 330 f**ked my money
Bought this shit (ideapad330) at 2019 december , almost I need to wait 10-12 minutes on each startup , clickpad become worse in 5 months, it has GTX 1050 n ram of 8 GB Intel i5 8th gen,1TB HDD , but NOT supporting GTA IV !. The connectivity to wifi also sucks. Not worth it . Please don’t buy lenovo hereafter.

I bought an ideapad s740 on September. It shipped on time, and worked for a week before I started having a problem with the display. Frequently, the computer would crash and multi colored lines would flash across the screen kind of pixelly. Called support first time, and they said I’d get contacted from their service department in 24-48 business hours (wtf do they use business hours?). No response for two weeks. Called again, said I’d get a personal follow up from case manager. No call for two weeks. Called a third time and was informed that my case had been input wrong and that I need to wait another 24-48 business hours. Decided to start the refund process so I wouldn’t have to deal with them anymore

My Lenovo Ideapad is a s slow as a wet week, anything that requires the CPU to break into a sweat ( anything above 50%) and it performs like a racehorse with a wooden leg. Total excrement.

I have a Lenovo Ideapad. Before this I used a laptop that is very old and even that worked better than this. I have so many problems with audio, microphone, and bluetooth. It also just runs very slow. This laptop is only a few, maybe 6 months old. I’ve spent hours looking at useless tutorials for these problems and I can’t figure it out. Never again.

I bought a Lenovo legion Y545. And personally, it’s not good. Though the screen refresh rate says 144Hz. It feels like 60Hz. I have tried 144Hz before and it feels a world apart. And in settings, it says its 144Hz. Also, it is set to the intel graphics by default and I had to do many bios updates to fix that. The display at some point wouldnt even change brightness and all. The GPU in prev drivers used to make these white criss-cross patterns over the screen on GPU apps. The Display is really bad and you can see that it has huge bright spots when the screen is dim. The Laptop is generally decent during games but when charger isn’t plugged in it just decreases FPS. The CPU runs at more than 4 GHz on idle and GPU goes up to 90 degrees playing minecraft -_-. The Battery was told to last about 4-5 hours but all i see is just 30 mins. Honestly lenovo sucks. And this happens with all laptops my mom has a lenovo laptop also and it cant run google chrome properly.
Lenovo is crap!
Thinkpad T480 is the most expensive piece of sh*t I could ever bought. The thermal management is terrible, I cannot even use it on the dock station as the temperature raises very quickly and the computer slows down terribly. Now, the laptop complains that I’m not using the original charger and reports a 16 W unit, of course I’m using the original. The battery does not charge while using it so the use is very limited. Of course, all these probems happened after warranty expired. Good job Lenovo, you’re following apple’s steps very nice. This is the last gringo sh*t I’ll ever buy. The next one will be Korean or chinese in brand.

I have 3 Lenovos and they all have had major issues my older R61 can’t even find restore disk. Yes Lenovo no longer even makes restore discs available for this unit. Won’t even see the hard drive. I’ve rebuilt computers all my life and never saw a worst built units. all hype thats it. Dell is still thebest in my book.

Never buying Lenovo again
I’ve had two Lenovo laptops. Both were Yogas, but different versions. The first one, after less than 4 years, the hinge broke, so the monitor was just hanging on to the keyboard by a thread. The second one was a different type of hinge, so I thought it would be better, but the hinge still started falling apart. It was never as bad as the other one, but I didn’t really get a chance to get as bad. After three years, something stopped working (probably the graphics card), and the monitor went black suddenly. Plugging it onto a new monitor didn’t do anything. The guy at the Best Buy Geek Squad said that it would be difficult to fix because Lenovo doesn’t make many spare parts for old computers (although three years really isn’t that old). Never buying a Lenovo again.

Purchased Lenovo Ideapad 3, their warranty only covers hardware and not software problems. It has two storage disks and the second disk is useless in operating the laptop. I am getting not enough storage error when the second drive is empty.

So basically in short i am lenovo y50-70 fhd version owner ,and faaaak . So much issues with cpu and gpu throttling even after thermal paste renewing , screen tearing and stutter in games like rust ,cs go, any other laptop can handle games better than my lenovo, it doesn’t mater if my hardware is better i7-4720hq ,960m 4gb, 16gb ddr3,ssd 240,razer mamba 2012 mouse. Laptop screen hinges had to be loosened or screen would be destroyed after 1 month of everyday use. screen is bad,colours are bad, till u turn up saturation in intel hd settings ,no yellow colour , i have one dead pixel after 3 years of use probably because i overcloced monitor to 90hz for past few months , screen is and was allway’s tearing bad in games and windowse’s other tnan win-8.1 ,specially win-10( garbage windows for this laptop) -and only for this laptop. And other lenovo’s i think .

i do not complain about wifi card ,of course -sometimes it locks me to 1.7 mbytes/ps download speed till i restart it ,but that’s acceptable, aluminium body looks premium, stock ram burned after 2 yrs of use, stock hdd was a trash at a start because of its tehnology , had to remove it as fast as possible after purchase. I had to mod ventilation system because of few important design flaw’s in it. Lenovo decided to throttle Cpu after it reaches 75° , or if Gpu reach ~65° (i forgot) Battery lasts 45 mins till 1.20h ,power brick could have more power for extra cooler . That shit laptop costs 900+ right now , started new around 1400 , i did get it for ~700 3yrs ago. NOT WORTH IT ( but on positive side – i dont really know whitch laptop is worth it) i mean the money .

Horrible Customer Service and Product Issues
A month ago I bought a Thinkpad T490s for my small business and have to say that I am completely disappointed with the product and the customer service. I intentionally bought a laptop specifically for business and thus more expensive. I went with a well known company that would hopefully stand behind their product and provide good customer service. I have had issues with the laptop since the day I bought it and have spent approximately 30 hours trying to get it resolved; most of this time being on hold. At least 4 times my call has been dropped after waiting 30-60minutes to speak to someone. I finally gave up and requested a return/refund when I got a rep. I was told someone would get back to me but that was over a week ago. I have no way of sending in a complaint to the company or someone at head office. I plan on writing a letter to the president of Lenovo North America. Think twice before buying a Lenovo laptop because if anything goes wrong you will not be able to get the support you require.

I have a Lenovo ideapad that I got for Christmas. This really ruined my view on computers as I am a kid and it was the first laptop I got. It is a Lenovo idea pad and worked the first time I tried it at my grandma and grandpas house. Then when we got hope it was acting slow and soon started not conecting to the WiFi. I ended up having to restart it every time I wanted to use it to get it to work.

Computer Shocked Me…
Had the computer for about a month or two. The charger was acting weird ( Not powering, Got detected by pc as 3rd party charger) Later on when i was plugging it in it caught smoke and shocked me. I just assumed it was some factory failure so i sent it back and asked for a new laptop. Now this new one is giving off a smoke smell and the gpu is damaged.

I bought a Lenovo V110 1 1/2 years ago. It is by fair the worst laptop or computer I have ever bought.
Within a month of buying it the touchpad started acted erratically (randomly moving on its own), which it has continued to do till the present day. Within less than a year the laptop had become very slow to boot up and use. Now bits have started falling off the cheap plastic shell, the DVD drive only works intermittently and the laptop now randomly blue screens and shuts down with no warning.
It’s just a cheaply made, subpar piece of crap and I seriously regret buying it. Do NOT buy Lenovo – especially if you plan to use it for business.
On the plus side using this garbage laptop has convinced me to invest in an Apple mac next time. Shouldn’t have long to wait as this will be croaking it any day now after less than 2 years of use.

I’ve had this computer for less than two years and it’s falling apart. A windows update broke the camera. The Wifi stopped working and would randomly shut off until I factory reset it. Recently the webcam stopped working and as far as I know all of these are lenovo just breaking shit over time. Everyone who bought this laptop had the touchscreen stop working at the same windows update.

Bought a Lenovo two and half months ago. Now all I have is a black screen and the fan is continuously running. Now the keyboard will not shut off. Customer service send me to a computer repair shop an hour away from home. Got there and they said they don’t repair, because Lenovo will not pay for the repairs. Lenovo said it will take 8 to 9 days to receive the box and label after it is approved by a case manager. Been a week and still waiting.

I found the only way to fix a Lenovo is to reload it with a generic windows operating system. I have an ideapad 320. It ran like crapr when I bought it. Then I reloaded it with a generic windows 10 and now it runs great.

Screen flickers because cable doesn’t seat properly. Had to reduce resolution so screen is half size. Camera doesn’t work. Bluetooth doesn’t work. I have spent HUNDREDS of hours trying to troubleshoot all the issues on Lenovo Vantage app, Lenovo site as well as various tech-troubleshoot sites. Re-downloaded drivers, etc. Just don’t don’t buy it!!!!!
Lenovo repair lies
bought a brand new lenovo yoga c940, which turned out to be my worse purchase EVER.
Weird static noises from the internals, and a faulty mousepad, that sometimes chose to make the curse jump when left clicking. This was happening right from the beginning when i recived the unit.
the unit got sent to repair but came back without any fault found at lenovo repair site. sendt it back in with videos of the jumping cursor. Same result, no fault found at lenovo.
I contacted lenovo customer service, and got told i could make a complaint if it was sent baack to repair once more without any fault found, so i did. The unit came back again without any fault found. I the once more made contact for customer service to create the complaint, but now i wasnt allowed to do so. I was told they only could receive the unit again to look for faults.
It was sent one more time, and this time they finally acknowledge the unit had issues, so they said on paper. the papirs said the changed the trackpad and the 2 down firing speakers. the trackpad looked exact the same, so i think they got tired of me and choose to lie. And static noice never came from that speaker position, but the main speaker.

Webcam stopped working a couple of weeks ago ( bought laptop this year ). Had Lenovo laptop before where webcam image was muddy. Have tried both computer and online help areas. Getting very angry at Lenovo, which is why I’m here.

This is the first and last time I’ll ever buy a Lenovo product. 11 months old and already the shift key sticks, the cursor has serious problems (works only when it wants to, is “balky” when it does, etc.), and is slow AF. An Etch-A-Sketch would be faster.

Lenovo Yoga and ThinkPads are the worst laptops in the industry
I’ve been using ThinkPads back when IBM manufactured those.
They were sturdy and reliable. Since Lenovo acquired the brand, the entire line of laptops became unusable. Horrible driver support, bugs with the BIOS,and cheap materials.
Recently I bought a new Yoga laptop. From the very beginning it had driver problems. I’ve talked to Lenovo support, they made me upgrade the BIOS, which except adding an annoying boot splash screen somehow managed to ruin the RJ45 socket and corrupted the Lenovo “first aid” drive (which itself is a buggy feature). I’ve been using the Yoga only in laptop mode, only at my home office and have never even moved it. Yet, the cheap plastic simply cracked over time, the monitor has to be externally supported because otherwise it will fall off. The keyboard backlight stopped working, then the touch feature as well.
Not to speak about how slow and full of bugs the entire OS is, thanks to the “Lenovo updates”.
Also at the last three hightech companies I worked many people have been assigned a Lenovo laptop. Every one of them had a lot of trouble with the laptops and replaced them withing the first two years. Always.
In conclusion: Don’t buy anything Lenovo related. It’s a hoax company with high prices but cheap materials. Their laptops are known to be the worst in the industry and their monitors are in the “cheap Chinese fake” league.

IdeaPad 330- worst laptop I’ve owned. Crap plastic screen, constant crashes and issues. Bi-weekly driver power state failures lead to hours of wasted time doing system restore. Lenovo Thinkpad feels somewhat good if companies give slim version
I bought the lenovo T460 thinkpad laptop 3 years back costs me 74000/- . For the price, its the worst laptop and windows is always slow. For the namesake its an I7 but it performed like a 2000 machine. I decided not to go for lenovo product anytime. They have the absolute worst technical service because whenever I will take this to them it has no speed and time to load then they will return as the same product and they dont even suggest anything. Display was not full HD and not SSD. W can get a mac pro for that, we will get full satisfaction for the product
