I’d rather use my ancient, 10yrold laptop

I received a Lenovo Yoga C940 and it’s a complete piece of sh*t!
The battery has always drained in less than a day with me doing very little on my device to cause it to do so.
It overheats like a motherfucker, I’ve NEVER had a device get so hot, I’m talking left-your-cellphone-in-the-car-on-a-summer-day HOT, and again, from NORMAL use! I’m not a gamer! My computer never gets cold even when shut! I’m contemplating storing it in the refrigerator.
The friggin mouse clicks wherever it wants as I type, which means I have to constantly stare at my screen to make sure it hasn’t clicked off of where I am trying to type. Of course lenovo is going to try to blame operator error on all of these complaints, but we all know Lenovo is a piece of shit
The stylus is damn near worthless, limited functionality.
For adobe users, DEFINITELY DO NOT get this laptop, it is GARBAGE when trying to use programs like Photoshop! I literally have to restart photoshop every 10 minutes for a glitch that occurs.
Though I’ve owned this computer for about 6 months, I’ve had these complaints since owning it for SIX DAYS! FOR FUCKS SAKE I HATE THIS LAPTOP

Lenovo Yoga Screen is Defective

Bought Lenovo Yoga in 2019. Literally 2 weeks after the 1-year warranty was up, the screen had a meltdown. A blurry rainbow started racing up and down. Impossible to see what was on the background. Impossible to use laptop. Can fix it temporarily by shutting down, closing up, turning laptop upside down and smacking it on a soft surface a few times. Very convenient! Sometimes it blows out 4 or 5 times in a day. I am buying a new laptop — NOT a Lenovo.

Mistake to buy this computer

My brand new Lenovo yoga will not connect to Internet. If it does it loses it after about 3 minutes. So frustrating. I have tried everything. I know it isn’t my internet connection.

LeNONO

Lenovo, More like LenoNO.
I purchased a lenovo yoga for my studies as a 6 form student, all was running well in the first couple months, however problems started to appear after half a year. The sleep button started to brake, i couldnt play crossy road anymore. This is more like a craptop not a laptop.

Lenovo Yoga Sucks!

DO NTO BUY a Lenovo Yoga!

I did and it was a HUGE mistake. I had great laptop experiences with several other brands but this laptop is a piece of shit! Multiple problems. Shame on Best Buy for selling them

Yoga computer needs blessings from a Yogi

Lenovo Customers Please read this: My Yoga is less than six months old. Unfortunately, the YOGA from Lenovo I have is a “LEMON”. Within three months of the purchase of a new YOGA, the Blue Screen Windows error started popping up and finally, the computer failed to start. The incompetent technicians who responded my request asked me to mail the computer to Houston, Texas for repair. It took more than their policy of five working days to fix the computer. I did not get an autopsy report from the technicians, but the caller told me they had to “replace one of the hard drives”.
After the repair, the Windows error continued. The touch screen did not work and the computer was very slow. Only difference, this time, I turn on and off and it started to work for a while. This really affected my daughter’s education. I told the technicians, I have to have a computer for my daughter’s online education and mailing it back for a second time to repair will affect her studies. She told me only a “senior technician” can fix the computer and I did not have a choice, but to mail it to the Houston “experimental and training repair facility”. Finally, after a number of phone calls, I mailed it back to the Houston repair place. It almost took a month and I received it back day before yesterday. They installed an old version of Windows and received the computer back from Florida. They already violated their policy of “five working days to fix the computer”. According to the “senior technician”, a computer part has to come from China to fix the computer. This really affected my daughter’s online education. As soon as I started the computer, it upgraded to the latest Windows. Immediately, the Blue Screen Windows error started with a warning “Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed. Insert Recovery Media and hit any key…” I do not have any Recovery Media and the computer is “dead”.
It is a known fact, that Lenovo had similar issues with Windows due to “A bug in Windows 10 KB4566782 and Lenovo’s BIOS is causing ThinkPad laptops to get stuck in Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)”. This was known to them on or before 2004. They knowingly failed to inform their customers about this. They still have not come up with a fix to this issue. The federal Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act says a company that doesn’t provide successful warranty repair for any product must provide a new replacement or a full refund–and pay court costs for consumers who must sue to exercise these rights, Feb 21, 2006. This brand new Yoga computer, within two months after purchase, became a refurbished “LEMON”computer. My daughter needs a dependable computer for her online studies and coursework. Therefore, I am asking customers to be aware.
Thank you

Never buying Lenovo again

I’ve had two Lenovo laptops. Both were Yogas, but different versions. The first one, after less than 4 years, the hinge broke, so the monitor was just hanging on to the keyboard by a thread. The second one was a different type of hinge, so I thought it would be better, but the hinge still started falling apart. It was never as bad as the other one, but I didn’t really get a chance to get as bad. After three years, something stopped working (probably the graphics card), and the monitor went black suddenly. Plugging it onto a new monitor didn’t do anything. The guy at the Best Buy Geek Squad said that it would be difficult to fix because Lenovo doesn’t make many spare parts for old computers (although three years really isn’t that old). Never buying a Lenovo again.

Lenovo Is So Wack

I have a Lenovo Yoga.

It sucks.

When you are typing a document in word, if you stop typing long enough for the screen to sleep, the touch pad stops working and you have to use your finger even though it’s not in tablet mode.

When you update, all your desktop icons disappear. I attempted to ask a question on their live chat and was forwarded to a screen that wanted 42$ to answer a question that in my opinion should be in a free forum.

I had an apple notebook and never had these issues. I thought the compatibility would be easier to PC’s but I’ve been more annoyed with this laptop than I ever was with my apple.

And with apple, I could easily visit a store and have my questions resolved for free.

Never again.

In fact, I will probably sell this laptop for half of what i payed and use the cash purchase something better and more predictable and reliable with better customer service after I spend nearly 1k!
