Lenovo ThinkPad 2021 sucks

Lenovo thinkpad 2021:
– can’t put it on sleep (I checked everything possible in widows settings); when I was trying to put it on sleep mode, it just go blank like in sleep, but in reality it’s a fake sleep, because I can hear the cooler time to time and I can see that the laptop is connected to my wi-fi…
– the cooler sings. yes, it’s sounds terrible;
– the fn and ctrl buttons are switched; I fixed this from bios but still sucks to see the fn in the corner of my keyboard…
– the arrow keys are too small and I keep missing them.

Do Not Buy The Lenovo ThinkPad! Here’s Why:

I recently purchased a Lenovo ThinkPad. This computer is a complete waste of my money: and a lot of it–over a grand! The model I purchased, which was mandated by my employer against my and my fellow employees’ wishes, was not very good at all. I would try to open a simple webpage or YouTube video, and the whole thing would crash! It often also went into a sedentary state, and I was unable to access it for hours, once even four days!
I tried reaching out to the support arms of manufacturer Lenovo, but I received nothing back. I also tried asking the shop-owner for support, but he fobbed me off to Lenovo. Then, when I finally was able to reach Lenovo, they just fobbed me right back off the store!
Also, the charging was quite precarious as well: once I left mine in the charger for a full three days, and it didn’t charge one bit! I implore that anybody who intends on purchasing the Lenovo ThinkPad, think again! And if you desperately want a brick, they’re sold for three dollars apiece at your local hardware store. Not $1,300, like this joke of a machine was. SAD!

ThinkPads are Complete Garbage, Get an IBM

The ThinkPad’s take so fucking long to startup, around a good 5 minutes or so. They are actual trash & shut down while at less than 10%, right after it gives you the warning. They are really weak, hitting a surface mildly hard, & a piece breaks off or it fucking messes with the screen. And they are too slow for educational use, since my school gives each of us a ThinkPad. There’s a lot more, but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have the time to list all this bullcrap.

Big Downer

I bought a Lenovo Thinkpad E585. Updated it with the Windows 10 October update (I bought the thing in December). Didn’t boot for the entire day and had to re-install the update. I lost a whole day of work. If you encounter this problem and you don’t want to spend the entire day worrying about how much it will cost, just open the backplate and make sure that the fan cable is in securely. I don’t hate Lenovo after this but I will never buy one of these again.
